Adobe Photoshop CS4

This was my submission for Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed artbook. I decided to go for an Indian themed character. Unfortunately my work wasn't selected. I was really hoping I'd get in the book. Feeling a bit disappointed at myself but at the same time I'm glad I learned a lot from making this piece. We weren't allowed to publicly showcase our works before the decisions were made so it'll only be now that I'm releasing this. (I completed this sometime ago)

Hoping to enter more contests like this in the future! :)

A KATAR! YEAH! <3 I absolutely love this weapon. Haven't seen it appear in games since Ragnarok Online :( I loved using that weapon..!
Okay enough weapon love haha. I love the pose and clothing. :) Both very cultural yet very mysterious... Such a shame your painting didn't get chosen :( But I hope your drawing will be an inspiration for the team behind AC anyways :) I'm quite disappointed with the themes of AC 3 and 4, so an interesting country like India would be lovely. :)
